2.6 Legal Bases (EEA/UK Users)

If you are located in the EEA/UK, our legal bases for processing may include: (i) providing the Services to you (performance of a contract); (ii) your consent (especially for sensitive health-related tracking data, where required); (iii) our legitimate interests (for example, securing and improving the Services); and (iv) compliance with legal obligations. 3. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

3.1 Service Providers

We may share information with trusted vendors that help us operate the Services (for example, hosting, cloud storage, analytics, crash reporting, customer support tools, and email delivery). These providers are permitted to process information only to provide services to us and must protect it.

3.2 Online Store (Shopify) and Payments

Our online store is powered by Shopify. When you shop or purchase through shop.luneline.com, Shopify and our payment partners process personal information to provide checkout, payment processing, fraud prevention, and order fulfillment. We do not store full payment card numbers in our systems.

We encourage you to review Shopify’s privacy information here: https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy.

If we introduce sharing features and you choose to use them, we will share the data you select with the recipients you choose. You will be able to control what is shared and stop sharing. Please note that recipients may handle information according to their own practices once they receive it.

3.4 Business Transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or a portion of our business or assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will take reasonable steps to require the recipient to protect your information.

3.5 Legal Requirements

3.6 No Sale of Sensitive Tracking Data

We do not sell your cycle tracking entries to third parties. We also do not permit our service providers to use your sensitive tracking data for their own advertising purposes.

4. DATA RETENTION AND SECURITY

4.1 Where Data Is Stored

Cycle data you enter is stored to provide the App’s functionality. Depending on how the App is configured and which features you use, data may be stored locally on your device and/or on our service providers’ servers. If we introduce optional cloud sync or sharing features, we will describe how those features work and what data is involved before you enable them.

4.2 Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as it is necessary to provide you with our Services, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with legal obligations, or enforce our agreements. You can delete logged information within the App and may request deletion by contacting us (see Section 10). Backup copies may persist for a limited period before being overwritten. If you choose to delete your account or request deletion of specific data, your information will generally be removed from our systems within a reasonable timeframe, unless we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes.

4.3 Security Measures

We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect the security of your personal information, including technical and organizational measures. However, no security system is impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of our databases or the cloud‑based and third‑party providers we use. The safety of your information also depends on you choosing a strong password and keeping it confidential.

4.4 Risks of Using the App

By using the App, you acknowledge that despite our efforts, information can be intercepted, corrupted, lost, or stolen, and we do not promise or guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never be able to defeat our security measures or use your personal information for improper purposes.

5. USER RIGHTS AND CHOICES

5.1 App Controls

5.2 Access, Correction, and Deletion

You can access, update, or delete the personal information you have provided through your account settings. If you wish to delete your entire account, you may do so through the App’s settings or by contacting us at support@luneline.com. For security, we may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests. Once your account is deleted, we will remove your information from active databases, though residual copies may remain in backup or archival media for a limited period of time.

5.3 EEA/UK Rights

If you are located in the EEA/UK, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and to object to certain processing. You may also withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent. You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

5.4 U.S. State Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, delete, or correct personal information, and to opt out of certain data uses. To exercise applicable rights, contact us at support@luneline.com.

5.5 Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We may use cookies or similar tracking technologies to improve your experience. Depending on your location, you may be provided with a choice to accept or reject cookies, and you can control cookies via your browser settings. However, disabling cookies may affect your ability to fully use the Services.

5.6 Opt‑Out of Communications

You may opt out of receiving certain promotional or marketing communications from us at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in those communications or contacting us. Even after you opt out, you may still receive transactional or administrative messages from us (e.g., service‑related announcements, account notifications).

6. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

We operate in the United States, and the data we collect from you may be transferred to, stored, or processed in the United States or other countries. These countries may have different data protection laws than your home country. By using our Services, you consent to such transfer, storage, and processing. We take steps to ensure that your information receives an adequate level of protection in the jurisdictions in which we process it.

7. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Our Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you become aware that a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@luneline.com, and we will take steps to remove such information and terminate the associated account.

8. THIRD‑PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES

Our Services may contain links to third‑party websites or services that we do not own or control. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third‑party sites or services before providing them with your personal information.

9. UPDATES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update or modify this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email (if we have your email address) or by posting a prominent notice within the App. Your continued use of the App or Services after any such changes indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
